I love dropping the needle of the tone arm on my turntable to the vinyl, something I haven’t done in 40 years. I’ve sold multiple record collections and I now selectively buy fave albums from random record stores. A fun routine, a ritual from my teen years thru college.

I purchased a Marantz turntable and with two relocated moves the components remained in their unopened boxes for a few years. During the quarantine Charlie stopped by to calibrate and adjust my turntable since The Best Buy Geek Squad was unable to complete this simple task. I guess my Marantz turntable was too advanced and complicated for them to handle.

So thank you Charlie and Empire Audio Video. His visit lasted less than an hour and we tested the calibrated turntable with side one of Sgt. Pepper. Mission accomplished and a splendid time was had by all.

I recommend them since they were professional, friendly and got the job done. They were awesome.
